Volunteers are an important part of the Brantford-Brant Children's Water Festival. They will help teach 500 Grade 4 students to respect and conserve our valuable water resources so they can become the water stewards of the future.
We require 75 volunteers to staff activity centres daily. Each hands-on activity centre presents a different water-related message to students.
All volunteers are provided with the materials and information needed to fulfill their roles.
Volunteers are expected to make a one-day commitment from 8 a.m. to approximately 2:30 p.m. on their scheduled day. You may volunteer for more than one day if you wish.
As a volunteer, your lunch and a festival t-shirt will be provided.
If you would like to contribute your time and talents to help educate students about the importance of water, please contact Festival Coordinator Jenn Deter at 519-621-2761 or 1-866-900-4722, ext. 2268 or by email Jenn Deter
2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. - Clean up your station and take inventory. Return to the Mohawk Pavilion for a quick wrap-up session before departing.
