The GRCA continues to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation in Ontario. The health, safety and well-being of our staff, volunteers and the community remain our highest priority. Please visit our COVID-19 Update page where you will find the most up-to-date information on impacts to GRCA programs and services.
The GRCA's conservation lands are set aside for uses such as hiking, bird watching, photography, and similar activities.
In many cases, these important lands offer habitat to a wide range of bird, plant and animal species.
These areas have no entrance fee and there are no staff members on site. Services are limited and may include a parking lot, garbage containers and information signs.
These areas are supported, in part, through donations to the Grand River Conservation Foundation.
Please follow these rules to protect the areas and their inhabitants:
Please be advised that these are passive-use lands and are not maintained in the winter season.
The GRCA also operates 12 paid-admission areas -- Grand River Conservation areas -- that offer a broad range of recreational activities including camping, swimming, paddling, fishing and more.
