The Laurel Creek Nature Centre in Waterloo offers a variety of programs geared to schools as well as families, youth and community groups.
Our unique, hands-on programs teach environmental concepts and foster an appreciation of the natural world.
The nature centre has two classrooms and a discovery room. It features a living roof with a viewing platform.
Laurel Creek runs through the 47-hectare (120-acre) property, which includes mature woods, wetlands and open fields. The stream and pond provide ideal sites for water studies.
The property is located beside the 240-hectare Laurel Creek Conservation Area.
