Elora Quarry Conservation Area opening

The Grand River Conservation Authority (GRCA)’s popular Elora Quarry Conservation Area will be open for day use beginning June 12, 2025.

The online ticket system is now open to both the general public and Grand River Conservation Area membership pass holders. Tickets and parking permits must be purchased online and in advance.

Each day has two four-hour time slots to choose from when purchasing tickets. The first slot spans 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the second time slot covers 3 to 7 p.m. Tickets are released online through the online ticket platform each Friday afternoon for the following week. A $16.75 parking pass must be purchased for all vehicles entering the site. Tickets and parking passes are not available to purchase in person at the site, which means walk-ups are not permitted.

General public tickets

The cost of admission for non-members is $11.75 for people ages 13-64, $6.25 for children ages 4-12 and $8.50 for adults with disabilities or who are 65-years and older. Children ages three-years and younger are free.

Grand River Conservation Area member tickets

Grand River Conservation Area members can reserve tickets for entrance to the Elora Quarry Conservation Area at no charge through the online ticketing system. A limited number of spaces will be held each day for Grand River Conservation Area Membership holders. Parking passes, however, must be purchased online in advance. All passholders must use the online reservation system and book their time in advance and require a confirmation ticket to enter.
