John Challinor II, Local Councillor, Ward 2, the Town of Milton, and Shawn Watters, Mayor of the Township of Centre Wellington, will continue in their roles as Chair and Vice-Chair of the Grand River Conservation Authority (GRCA) for another term.

Both Challinor II and Watters were acclaimed by the GRCA Board of Directors at the General Membership meeting on Friday, January 23, 2026. “We have a great deal of important work ahead of us, and I’m confident in our ability to meet the moment,” said John Challinor II. “This Board has consistently demonstrated its commitment, its expertise, and its resilience. I look forward to continuing our work together as we navigate this period of change together.”
