Nature Centres

Our five nature centres offer a variety of programs for teachers and students, children and families, youth and community groups. 

Our goal is to provide unique, hands-on programs that teach environmental concepts and foster an appreciation for the natural world. Our staff are dedicated, professional and enthusiastic nature interpreters.

Our environmental education program is currently under review. Some programs have been suspended, while others have limited availability. As per the GRCA Fee Policy (196 KB PDF), please see Fee Schedule 1 Outdoor Environmental Education Programs and Services (627 KB PDF) for a list of fees. 

  • Connect with Nature at Home (Activities and lessons for home learning and connecting with nature.)
  • Day camps during school breaks and PD Days - Not currently being offered.
  • Eco-adventure birthday parties - Not currently being offered.

  • Badge programs for Guiding and Scouting - We have no availability at this time. Should availability change, this page will be updated. Please check back!
