New Guelph Lake Nature Centre - Nature At Your Doorstep!
The new Guelph Lake Nature Centre officially opened in September, 2025. The new building is located within the Guelph Lake Conservation Area and is surrounded by learning grounds that include nature trails, forest play areas, pollinator gardens, an Indigenous tea garden and water features. We are continuing to fundraise to help ensure the Guelph Lake Nature Centre can sustain its high-quality programs, expand community access and succeed long into the future. Trees and Trails - Give Grand!
It doesn't take a Grand investment to make a Grand gesture. A donation of $30 or more will support trees and trails within the Grand River watershed and help maintain the important natural assets.

Support Outdoor Education
Each year, thousands of students, families, and community members engage with nature through hands-on learning through the GRCA's Environmental Education Program and its nature centres. From pond studies and forest hikes to climate literacy, participants don’t just learn about nature — they learn from it. For some, it's their first time seeing what lives in the woods or discovering the comfort of being surrounded by nature. Donors play a big role! Donations helps fund:
- Program delivery and expansion
- Equipment, materials, and accessibility improvements
- Subsidies for schools and community groups facing financial barriers
