The Apps' Mill parking lot on Robinson Road is currently closed due to an ongoing clean up. The parking lot will reopen when the clean up is complete and the parking lot repaired.
Cogeco Connexion Inc. (Cogeco) will be installing fibre optic cable in the Belwood Lake Conservation Area. Visitors and seasonal tenants may experience intermittent access disruptions and delays while using the roads surrounding the lake.
This project is associated with the publicly lead Southwestern Integrated Fibre Technology (SWIFT) program. The purpose of this program is to improve internet connectivity in underserved communities and rural areas across Southwestern Ontario.
Cogeco has provide a tentative completion date of August 31, 2023.

During recent water testing at Conestogo Lake Conservation Area samples revealed levels of arsenic and sodium that exceed limits identified in the Ontario Drinking Water Quality Standard. As a result of these findings, Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health has issued a Drinking Water Advisory for an exceedance in arsenic and sodium.
The ruins of the Harris & Co. Rockwood Woolen Mill remain closed due to potential safety concerns.
Due to weather events in 2017 and 2018, the low level bridge at Elora Gorge Conservation Area was damaged by high water flows and remains closed indefinitely.
