Critical Elevations
This table describes the significance of the elevation of the water surface at various locations. This information is used to determine when ice jams occur and when flooding may be expected. The table shows the name of the gauge, the affected communities and various elevations along with the significance of those elevations. Elevation is measured in metres above sea level using the Canadian Geodetic Vertical Datum of 2013 (CGVD2013).
| Gauge (Community) | Elevation (m) | Significance |
| Grand Valley | 452.3 | Warning threshold for flooding on Emma and Water Streets |
