Paul Salvini is Global Chief Technology Officer at DNEG, a leading film visual effects and animation studio with approximately 8000 artists around the world. Known for its creativity and innovation, DNEG has won seven Academy Awards® for Visual Effects – including six in the past eight years.
Paul has over 25 years of success in inspiring teams and growing highly profitable, innovative companies. He is the former CEO of the Waterloo Accelerator Centre, helping entrepreneurs and startups to build successful technology-based businesses.
In the summer, Paul can be found enjoying the lakes, rivers and trails of the Grand River watershed. He is passionate about supporting the goals of the GRCF for the benefit of current and future generations.
Kathryn (Kathy) Reston was General Manager of Finance and Business Strategy, Corporate Compliance & Diversity & Inclusion at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada (TMMC). She retired from TMMC in July 2020 after 30 years of service and is currently working as a part time Cost Management consultant.
Kathy joined TMMC in 1990 as a Finance Specialist and has held various positions within Finance.
Kathy is a Certified Professional Accountant and graduated from Fanshawe College in Business Administration and Marketing. Kathy completed her Diversity & Inclusion Certificate at Centennial College. She lives with her family in St. George, Ontario. In addition to spending time with family and friends, she enjoys travelling, curling, golfing cooking, gardening, hiking, and is an avid reader.
